OVER $7.6 MILLION RAISED ✦

Where funding strategy meets operational infrastructure and community impact.
Helping organizations move from idea to institution.

OVER $7.6 MILLION RAISED ✦

Hi, I’m Jessica Wright, Grant Strategist, Program and Management Analyst, and TEDx Third Ward Speaker.

I work at the intersection of funding, systems, and public service, helping nonprofits, small businesses, and mission-driven leaders secure public and private funding while building the infrastructure needed to sustain their work long-term.

My approach to grants and fundraising is grounded in strategy and story. I believe funding follows clarity. Clarity of mission, clarity of programs, and clarity of leadership. From domestic violence shelters and historic preservation initiatives to youth development, workforce pipelines, and economic mobility efforts, I support organizations nationwide in moving from vision to funded reality. I serve in the public service space as a Program and Management Analyst, where I focus on project management, performance strategy, compliance, and risk mitigation. This perspective allows me to translate community-based work into systems that align with public funding requirements, ensuring organizations and businesses are not only fundable, but positioned for long-term sustainability. A core pillar of my work is capacity building with a social focus. I help nonprofits and socially conscious businesses strengthen internal systems, leadership structure, and program design so funding becomes a tool for growth, not a point of strain. For businesses, this means building the operational readiness, documentation, and strategic alignment needed to compete for grants, contracts, and public sector opportunities. I am a TEDx Third Ward Speaker and share my signature framework, 1200 Conversations, which explores how intentional conversation, connection, and access transform careers, communities, and legacy. At the center of this work is a guiding belief. Relationships, not resumes or titles, are the true currency behind opportunity. Legacy is at the heart of everything I do. I believe impact should outlive us by at least two generations, and that meaningful funding is about more than dollars. It is about dignity, structure, and access. My work supports leaders and organizations in building capacity, confidence, and long-term momentum. If you’re ready to move from survival mode into strategy mode, you’re in the right place.

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS ✦

“Whew, where do I start? Jessica started with HOLH in 2019. She immediately immersed herself in learning the operations of the organization. She took on the nonprofit as her own and almost 7 years later we have built a “marriage”, partnership, friendship and relationship that many desire and need. Jesica is a consultant that cares about her clients. She goes over and beyond to make sure that the client is happy and the work is done with excellence. I would recommend Jessica Wright to any company that wants to be successful and win.”

Deneshia Clemons

"Working with Jessica has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. She is incredibly easy to talk to and creates a comfortable, supportive space where you truly feel heard. She listens so attentively. Almost like a therapist, which makes the entire process feel collaborative and stress-free. Jessica has an amazing ability to uplift and encourage me at exactly the moments I need it most, especially when things feel overwhelming. On top of that, she consistently brings innovative, thoughtful ideas to the grant-writing process, helping me see new possibilities and approaches I wouldn’t have considered on my own. Her guidance, creativity, and genuine care have been invaluable to my business.”

Grant Strategy Client

This course has given me insight into what it takes to become a successful Grant Writer.  It's reinvigorated my interest in learning more and beginning a journey of becoming a successful Grant Writer. I know that with this skill and knowledge I will be able to help my community. Jessica was very relatable although she’s been in this space for 24 years, she didn't drive it as if she knew it all. There was no ego trip. She made me feel like an equal even though I'm a dreamer with 0 experience 0 wins. She is very easy to learn from. I look forward to continuing to learn from her.
